First Day/Orientation
High school orientation will be from 7:50-11:05 a.m. Aug. 13, beginning in the chapel. Please bring pen and paper.
Junior high orientation will be from noon to 3:15 p.m. Aug. 13, also beginning in the chapel. Please bring pen and paper.
Seventh graders will have a mixer immediately following orientation. They will be dismissed at 4 p.m.
Seniors are required to stay the whole day and will have lunch in the library.
All students should wear regular uniforms.

Subsitute Teachers Needed
Parents interested in substitute teaching are required to attend a “Protecting God’s Children” workshop. The next scheduled workshop is 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, in room 116 at St. Frederick. Registration is at www.virtus.org. Call the school for more information.

Back-to-School Showcase
Parents are invited to the Back-to-School Showcase will be at 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Parents will have the opporutnity to meet the teachers. A Hot Dog Supper will be served, and the football players and spirit groups will be introduced at this event, which will also include a PTO meeting.

Parking Pass Requirements
All students will be required to have a parking sticker on their vehicles to park on school property. Stickers, which are $10, will be sold in the front office after high school Orientation on Aug. 13.

New Entry and Exit Procedure
s
Campus security upgrades this summer require all students must enter and exit the school via the front entrances, the Commons Area, or the Gym. A new gate to help protect the rear of the school will prevent students from entering or leaving the campus between the library and the field house.
As always, all visitors, including parents, must enter through the front office.

PRAYER MEETINGS
The St. Frederick Prayer Warriors pray together every Tuesday morning (during regular school time) at 8:00 a.m.  We pray the rosary, and pray for all of our school/church community. We encourage students and staff to write their intentions and  place them in the petition box in the hallway.  We invite all interested parents/grandparents/guardians to join us in prayer.

Asbestos
In compliance with the Requirement of Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, St. Frederick High has a plan for monitoring asbestos-containing building materials. The required documentation has been filed with the State of Louisiana and with the EPA, Regional Asbestos Coordinator. Copies of this documentation are on file at the school office and are available for your review.This notice is issued in compliance with 40 SFR 763.93 (8)(4).

Integrated Pest Management
Per the guidelines of Louisiana Pesticide Law, St. Frederick has implemented and maintains an Integrated Pest Management Plan. Please notify the school in writing if your child is hypersensitive to pesticides of any kind.
